Eminem has not dropped an album since 2013, but he’s still breaking steaming records. In fact, he’s one of the top streaming artists of 2017.
According to a new industry report from BuzzAngle Music, music consumers are still giving Slim Shady plenty of spins. He ranks as the 12th most-streamed artist of the year so far, totaling more than 1.1 billion streams over all audio and video platforms. He’s also in the top 15 when it comes to total consumption, with sales projections topping more than 750,000 across physical, digital and streaming outlets.
Eminem is pulling streams higher then DJ Khaled, Rihanna and The Chainsmokers and his material is 4 years old. What this report proves is when your one of the greatest, no matter how long it’s been, people will recognize your greatness.
