When it comes to artists that have truly made a dent in the Hip-Hop industry, who also happen to hail from Las Vegas, the list probably stops at Dizzy Wright, and even that’s debatable. Still, despite the lack of mainstream coverage in a town where entertainment is king, culture has been brewing in the City of Sin for quite some time now. One of the artists who is known in the city as having been a big spearhead to that culture is ~~Northtown~~ Norftown native T.Rabb, who’s been starting waves in the 702 since the Dizzy D. Flashy days. Fresh off of releasing his mixtape, Free Throws — which was a local favorite and criminally underrated nationally — Rabb is back with the new single, “Headlock” and this time he’s got a familiar friend with him.

Recreating the magic the duo had on, “Garlic Oil,” Raab recruited fellow Norftown native — and noted Prodigy stan — G. Reed to the party and he did not disappoint. The two trade vicious barbs over the hyphy, almost Bay-Area-like production for almost 4-and-a-half minutes, putting the city — and presumably the rest of the country — on notice. With all of this great music hailing from Sin City in the last 12-months, don’t be surprised to see one of the bunch break through the barriers pretty soon.
