Recently, VFILES teamed up with Lil Yachty for their Loud series, which has become very popular with followers of the notable store and lifestyle brand. Unlike other Loud events, this one was different, as the store allowed fans to greet the Atlanta artist and to take photos and get copies of Yachty’s debut album Teenage Emotions signed. All of this leading up to a free show from one of hip-hop’s currently most-talked about artists.
First off, seeing those kids so excited to meet Lil Boat really made my day — this was truly a sight to see. Ultimately, the excitement for Lil Yachty’s live performance was at its highest (the line was down the street and around the block). During his set, he played one of my favorites, “D to the A” (the actual single features Tee Grizzley), as well as other breakout hits such as “One Night,” “Peek-A-Boo” and “Say My Name,” which in return left the crowd wanting more.
Be on the lookout for many more VFILES events; in the meantime, you can check out a quick clip from Yachty’s appearance below (the full performance should arrive soon).
