Here’s a blast from the past: back in 2015, an at-the-time incarcerated Gucci Mane revealed that — among the many projects he was working on — he had a film titled The Spot, which he created in 2013 and was meant to be released to iTunes that year. Over time, fans all but forgot about the mythical movie.
Now, it looks like Gucci has decided to just bless the masses with The Spot for free streaming. Directed by Mr. Boomtown, the crime-dramedy sees appearances from Young Scooter, Shawty Shawty, Rocko, (now-fiancée) Keyshia Ka’oir and more and centers on the actions happening at and around Gucci and Rocko’s auto shop. Also hard to avoid: the major difference in Gucci’s appearance, as he’s since taken on a much healthier lifestyle.
Enjoy The Spot in full below. If you missed it, you can also check out Gucci’s latest long-play collaboration with Metro Boomin titled Drop Top Wop and — if you feel like reminiscing on old Gucci — the movie’s official soundtrack. In addition, he has a new feature with Pop group Fifth Harmony, which is out now. Burr!
