Fabolous was officially granted the key to the city of Brooklyn in a ceremony on June 11, 2017.
The key to the city was not the only honor that rapper received during the ceremony. Eric L. Adams, president of the borough, inducted Fabolous into the Celebrity Path that is located in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. A marker with his name on it is to be installed on that path as well.
Fabolous posted about the event on Facebook earlier today:
Had the honor of being presented the Key To Brooklyn from Brooklyn Borough President @bpericadams today. Still crazy to me that I’m being honored by the place that birth, raised, & made me who I am today. Thank You Brooklyn ?
All of this follows a special award ceremony held on March 9th in the Grand Courtroom in Brooklyn’s Borough Hall, according to XXL.
We can only wait and see what else the rapper can achieve in his bright future.
