Las Vegas emcee Dizzy Wright is ready to bless the world with the sequel to his critically-acclaimed album The Golden Age (which was released back in 2013 during the Funk Volume days). First, he drops a dope visual for the track “FFL,” which Dizzy premiered as part of his Still Movin’ Monday series.
In the Simon Davis-directed clip, we see Dizzy and crew in London and Paris, enjoying the scenery and taking to the stage for what was probably a dope set for his international fans; we also see him and hear his perspective as a father. A sign that he continues to move forward in his career despite all obstacles and disingenuity, a positive affirmation that stands firm in the song’s hook:
F*** fake love, f*** fake love
Yo I can’t focus on the pain no more
F*** fake love, f*** fake love
It ain’t about the s*** that you claim no more
F*** fake love, f*** fake love
Oh, n***as don’t think they need to change no more
F*** fake love, f*** fake love
Just do what you love, that’s what we came here for
Enjoy “FFL” below, along with another recent video for “Word On The Streetz.” Golden Age 2 should hopefully be arriving sooner than later.
