For the past year, Texas native Dali Voodoo and his Be Motivated By Greatness (BMBG) movement have been turning heads (and ears) with a unique brand of genre-bending music and eccentric style. If anything, the momentum seems to have really kicked off with the very dope (and beautifully countrified) “Swing Low,” which saw production from ColdBold and featured additional assistance from Forest Watson and Roy Kemp.
For his latest, Dali delivers “Rainwater,” a fun, bass-heavy cut that’s hard not to groove to. Lyrically, Dali absolutely kills it by switching between a melodic, more R&B style to some of the hardest prison bars ever heard (as he says on the track, one listen will bring the attitude out of you), adding to the track’s overall replay value.
Enjoy “Rainwater” below. In related news, Dali will be headlining a big event at The Bomb Factory in Dallas alongside Gucci Mane, Young Thug and Sonny Digital; that goes down July 30th.
Hopefully, we won’t have to wait months for more from Dali Voodoo.
