Chance The Rapper will be recognized at the BET Awards this year; he’ll be honored with the Humanitarian Award for positively impacting both local and national communities.
In response, Chance tweeted, “It is immense honor and I’m inspired to do so much more after receiving this.” He donated $1 million dollars to several Chicago public schools back in March.
The awards will be held June 25th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. New Edition will also be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
