This week just so happens to signify the 10th anniversary of UGK and OutKast‘s classic collaboration “International Player’s Anthem (I Choose You)” (a track produced by Three 6 Mafia‘s DJ Paul and Juicy J, no less). Presumably in celebration of, OutKast’s Big Boi decided to liberate a new single titled “In The South,” which features Gucci Mane and the late Pimp C. The Cory Mo and TM88-produced cut is also the latest link-up for Big Boi and Gucci since 2010’s “Shine Blockas.”
Check out “In The South” below; it’s the third single from the forthcoming album Boomiverse, following “Mic Jack” (featuring Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine) and the Jeezy and Killer Mike-assisted “Kill Jill.” Pre-order the album before it drops June 16th.
