In celebration of his 30th birthday, Meek Mill decided to gift his fans with an EP titled Meekend Music, which features appearances from A$AP Ferg (“$lay”) and Young Thug (“Backboard”). The three-song project is his first offering since last year’s DC4.
In addition, the Philly emcee also liberated a new visual for the DC4 track “Litty,” which features Canadian artist Tory Lanez. The Spike Jordan-directed clip centers around a scamming operation gone sour once one of the main characters falls for an unassuming department store employee.
Stream both “Litty” and Meekend Music below. Despite recent music from ex Nicki Minaj (and a recent assault charge), it appears that Meek Mill is focused on getting back to quality street music with his latest.
