Months after the release of the critically-acclaimed Stillness In Wonderland, Little Simz is back with a brand new single titled “Backseat.” The hypnotic cut (which sees production from Astronote and features additional vocals from Ella Mai and Vanjess) sees young Simbi briefing her fans on her whereabouts and what’s going on in her head post-success.
Said the Islington emcee about the new release (via her Soundcloud account):
I don’t talk or say too much…since the beginning, my music has been my way of communicating with the supporters and people who really care about me and my art. BACKSEAT is an update for the people. It’s all in the lyrics. Thank you for listening.
