Yesterday morning, The second annual Meadows Music and Arts Festival announced that Jay Z will be headlining at Citi Field in Queens, New York from September 15th to the 17th. In addition, fans are speculating that Jay will be releasing an album before he performs. Could Beyoncé also pop-up with a surprise performance?
The Meadows will also see Gorillaz, Nas, Future, Migos, Erykah Badu, Mike Floss and many more hitting the stage. If you can’t go to the actual festival, then there will be a live stream video on Tidal. It has been a good year for Gorillaz and Future with the release of their albums earlier this year. Future went platinum with his double album and hit single, “Mask Off.”
The show — which expanded to three days — will be dedicated to art, music, and food. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, May 10th.
