As of lately, everything that Atlanta trendsetter Future has done is a win…at this rate, his reign could last a very long time. The biggest question is: what will Future do next?
2017 marked a big year thanks to both FUTURE and HNDRXX, which has ultimately propelled the Freebandz boss to a new level of artistry that everyone is talking about. Future’s blueprint sound cannot be denied whether you like it or love it, even though some would say his topics are mostly drug related and mundane. Regardless, it hasn’t slowed the artist down at all; honestly, it seems to have only motivated him to make history with his back-to-back albums, both of which debuted at number 1. Simply put, Future has a lot to smile about.
This week, Future will be kicking off his Nobody Safe tour across the U.S with Migos, Young Thug and a few others; before that, he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to light the stage up with his smash hit “Mask Off.” I never thought I would ever hear a song start off with the words “molly and percocet” and be so accepted in mainstream media.
Check out both the performance clip and preview for the Colin Tilley-directed “Mask Off” visual below. For all his hard work in Atlanta, Future deserves a statue right next to Gucci Mane.
