NYC based rapper Donmonique premiered her new track “Selfish” exclusively on HNHH earlier today (Friday, May 19th) and its definitely something you need to hear.
Following the release of her Thirst Trap project in 2015, the MC seemingly took a hiatus from dropping content. Here’s what she told HNHH about “Selfish” and her time away:
This song is really just about me. What I’ve been doing, setting the tone straight. I got the name “Selfish” because I feel like that’s exactly how I have to be in this industry and with my whole career. I’ve been quiet for a while but it was all for a reason, nobodies ready for the new music coming.”
“Selfish” is the first cut off of Donmonique’s upcoming Thirst Trap 2 project set to drop some time this summer.
