Way back in July, 50 Cent had announced through Instagram that he would be producing a television series about the Black Mafia Family. We hadn’t heard a lot about it since, but we finally have an update on how it is going, according to social media and Complex.
The story will be about Demetrius, also known as Big Meech, and Terry Flenory. Together, they founded a drug trafficking ring in the 80s and later founded BMF Entertainment. Despite their efforts in going legit, the brothers were imprisoned for their crimes and sentenced to 30 years in prison. As seen below, 50 Cent had posted permission from Big Meech via a note written from prison that allowed the go-ahead for the show about a month after the initial announcement.

While there hadn’t been much news since, the rapper and producer had posted pictures from his Instagram showing pictures apparently from the production and saying that the show should be “coming soon”. You can see the post below in the photo as well as one with additions from the comment section. We can only wait and see if it will live up to 50 Cent’s expectations.
