The term “issa” has certainly taken the world by storm, ever since the accent-heavy 21 Savage uttered it during a DJ Vlad interview last year. Now, 21 Savage turns it into the new track titled “Issa,” which features “Sneakin” collaborator Drake and fellow ATLien Young Thug.
On the Bricks & Narcos, TM88 and Wheezy-produced cut, the three rappers repeat the Southern slang all throughout, speaking on pretty much everything you’d expect:
Issa jet, issa check
Issa savage, now she wet
Issa Pyrex, I got crack
Got a coolin’ system, issa Tec
If your b***h spend the night, issa sex
Check out “Issa” below. Hopefully, this is a sign that Savage Mode 2 or — given that Metro Boomin wasn’t involved with this song — another project of some sort is on the horizon. He did hint at something dropping June 1st, so there’s that.
