Now that Kendrick Lamar has released his critically-acclaimed album, fans are now excited for another artist on TDE’s roster that has been waiting her turn for a few years.
This week, SZA delivers a new track titled “Love Galore,” which follows last year’s “Drew Barrymore” and features Travis Scott. The laid-back, slightly Trap-infused cut also comes with an accompanying visual, which you have to watch all the way through (the clip is mostly filled with some sexual building between the two collaborators before things get, well…horrific).
As with “Drew Barrymore,” “Love Galore” will presumably be appearing on SZA’s forthcoming album CTRL, which closes out a trilogy led by 2013’s S and 2014’s Z (the album was originally titled A for obvious reasons). The album’s release would also mark the end of what seemed like a series of shaky moments between SZA and the label that Top Dawg built; alleged frustrations over the project’s delay led to the R&B star temporarily quitting music via social media last Fall.
Enjoy “Love Galore” below and pick up the single on iTunes. In related news, SZA has also inked a new deal with RCA Records (in conjunction with TDE)…hopefully, this means that CTRL will be making landfall sooner than later.
