Seven years after albums Plastic Beach and The Fall, the Damon Albarn-led cartoon band Gorillaz liberate their fifth offering Humanz, which is as feature-packed as ever — the project sees appearances from Vince Staples, Popcaan, De La Soul, Danny Brown, Kelela, Grace Jones, D.R.A.M., Pusha T and loads more. The project isn’t short of a creative rollout, either: in addition to their global listening party (which was accessible via their augmented reality app), fans can also check out the band members’ homes via a series dubbed ‘Spirit Houses‘. Lots of awesomeness to unpack alongside the music.
Stream Humanz below via Apple Music, Spotify and TIDAL. Also included is a remix playlist for tracks like “Andromeda,” “Saturnz Barz” and “Ascension.”
