Artist Noir is staying true to his name with keeping it new, fresh and entertaining in his visual to “Overdose“. The Los Angeles creative directed the visual himself. It displays bright animation, flashing images, various side effects, old school projections and VHS style imaging. Takes you on a visual roller coaster.
Although the video is fun and creative the song deals with some difficult subject matter. Over a smooth beat produced by Brian Do, Noir sings a hypnotic, heartfelt Auto-Tune ballad about the loss of his friend. The hook goes, “I don’t want to overdose, I lost my bro Holy Ghost / Holy smokes, I don’t know if I’m faded I’m caught in the moment though.” He even raps that he lost his brother to the same thing he once sold. The LA based artist is gearing up for his next project that is set to release summer ’17.
