It’s been a year since New Jersey-based artist Haze Mahdi delivered The Mos Hyy, a very solid release that saw Haze trading bars with the likes of Dave East and Truly. Now, the methodical emcee is back with the new cut — and visual for — “What It Look Like,” which sees production from noted producer V Don (who’s crafted beats for Bodega Bamz, Vado, Trae The Truth, Smoke DZA and more).
In the simple-yet-effective clip (directed by Bryan Nunez of A1 Vision), Haze walks through some uncompromising territory while delivering the type of machine gun-style lyricism that Rap purists and fellow bar mechanics alike will want to listen to several times over…a perfect match with V Don’s creeping, tense backdrop.
