San Diego native Fred Burton checks into the RESPECT. pages for the first time with his nostalgic new single, “Jack Murphy” featuring fellow native Saviorself. Meshing lines about paying homage to Daygo with smooth, 90’s reminsicent production, Burton absolutely establishes himself as a force to be reckoned with on this track. Lines like, “San Diego on my back, but I don’t got any tatts,” highlight his love for the city, setting the tone for the ode to the coastal city. Lately, SD has been on the come up with artists like Rob $tone and Rossi Rock starting to command national attention, and if this track is any indication, Fred Burton is poised to be next on the come up.
Check out the infectious track below and be sure to keep an eye on Burton, who is set to release his new project in the upcoming months.
