Upcoming Brooklyn rappers A Lito and Reez teamed up recently to make “Bring The Bands,” a song about lust, adult entertainment, and infidelity. The Crown Heights crew are relatively new to the industry, but they’ve managed to garner support from well-known DJs and received continuous radio play on one of New York’s top radio stations for Hip-Hop/R&B.
JBE (Jigga Baby Entertainment) are a three-member collective from the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn. Slay, A Lito, and Reez grew up together. Each member attended elementary school—PS 138—together. As teenagers, they went to different high schools. Alito moved to Pennsylvania and would travel back to Brooklyn during his Summer vacations. Late last year, all three guys launched their music careers.
Due to the club anthem style production on “Bring The Bands,” it is supported in several clubs. DJ Self (Love & Hip Hop: New York and Power 105.1 DJ) played the record at his bash. Fellow rappers Young MA and Casanova were in attendance.
Before recording verses for tracks, Slay added background vocals (or ad-libs) to the music. The JBE members are working on new music and plan to release an EP in the Summer. For now, listen to the track at the top of the post and let us know your thoughts.
