The legal woes for Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates won’t seem to slow down anytime soon.
Kevin Gates — born Kevin Jerome Gilyard — found himself in hot water after kicking a fan at a 2015 show. The recorded incident left Kevin in prison to serve a 180-day sentence.

After his release from a Florida jail, Gates voluntarily turned himself over to Chicago authorities for a pending warrant on a weapons charge, according to TMZ. The weapons charge warrant stems all the way back from 2013.
Last Friday, March 24th, Gates waved his exercise to extradition meaning a transfer was accepted without a new hearing. Cook County’s Sheriff’s Department says his next court date is April 3rd, holding the Islah rapper held without bond.
