Following 2015’s Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming documentary, North Carolina emcee-producer J. Cole is returning to HBO for a second clip titled 4 Your Eyez Only, named after his successful December release. For this film, Cole heads to various cities in the South (including the embattled Ferguson, Missouri and his hometown, Fayetteville, North Carolina) to give those areas a spotlight to speak on various issues happening in (or affected by) the communities. As was the case with Forest Hills Drive, that footage will be interspersed with performance footage.
Below lies a minute-long trailer for 4 Your Eyez Only (which was produced by Cole and Scott Lazer alongside Dreamville’s Ibrahim Hamad and Adam Roy Rodney)…the documentary will premiere on HBO on April 15th at 10PM. In related news, Cole also announced 4 Your Eyez Only tour dates earlier this year, which is set to kick off this June…you can check out the full schedule for that as well.
