Allentown, PA by way of BX emcee, GQ Nothin Pretty heads back to his former stomping grounds, as well as the streets of Queensbridge, with one of the boroughs greatest exports, Tragedy Khadafi, in the visuals for, “High Quota.” The track serves as the debut leak taken from GQ’s Animation LP, which is now available!
In the Naked Eye Filmz and BornReadyTV directed visuals, you could find him and Tragedy dishing out their gutter rhymes, while providing a guided tour of both The Bronx, and the 41st side of things. That includes stops by the local hoops court, views of some serious slick graffiti work, and of course, a meal fit for a king. Considering that GQ big-ups some of his favorite grub on the “High Quota” hook, it’s only right that he gets to indulge in some of it, too.
In addition to this gully-as-hell track, produced by Switzerland’s DJ Tray, Animation boasts collaborations with Ruste Juxx, Ras Kass, Chino XL, and King Magnetic (with whom GQ frequently performs). The 15 track album is now available through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via Nothin Pretty Productions.
