He was born in Africa. His ethnicity is Albanian. However, he’s a current Brooklyn resident. Some know him as Larry. Others, refer to him as G4SHi, pronounced “Gah-shee.” A few years ago, we saw him, on Sway freestylin’ or featured on sites like The Hundreds. We’ve seen him posted on Instagram, with folks like Post Malone, but didn’t know much about him. I think it’s safe to say, now is his time.
DJ Snake recently pulled G4Shi onstage at the Ultra Festival in Miami and fans, knew the words in its entirety. Artists likeZoey Dollaz, have been shouting out the Flatbush emcee as well on social media. Big Sean’s artist Earlly Mac, had the video teaser on his Instagram account and Hot 97 aired it twice.
It will be awesome to see what G4Shi’s next play is. Will it be more shows or another internet post, that turns into a hip-hop anthem. Only time will tell and we’re looking forward to it.
