DJ Premier & Miguel Drop New Visual for "2 LOVIN U" [WATCH]

A few years ago, Miguel took to social media to reveal a new collaboration in the works with the legendary DJ Premier (it was apparently called “Damned” at the time)…the track was apparently supposed to appear on 2015’s Wildheart, only to end up on the cutting room floor. Last month, the two artists then decided to release the song — now titled “2 LOVIN U” — anyway, much to the delight of their fans. Premier even explained their choice to liberate the music:

The snippet you heard on Miguel’s Instagram, mine is the original… Miguel and I were vibing at a session and just really seeing what we could come up with. What we came up with was a dope, but rough version of what you hear today. Miguel and I had deadlines and we never got around to finishing it. We both really believed in this version of the track and we both felt very strongly that it needed to come out and be released as a single. Miguel and I approached the label about releasing it and everyone was on-board.

Today, “2 LOVIN U” now comes with a visual, which keeps things simple — and rather Hip-Hop, to be fair — with a dope warehouse performance (some visual effects are provided for extra reinforcement). Check that out below and pick up the smooth cut via iTunes.
