A few years ago, Adult Swim premiered an absolutely horrifying parody of every sitcom ever with “Too Many Cooks,” which saw exaggerated versions of your favorite characters get killed off by a random infiltrator (to the delight of everybody). It seems as if actor Jonah Hill has decided to channel that concept to some degree — he has directed Danny Brown‘s new visual for “Ain’t It Funny,” the latest to be taken from last Fall’s Atrocity Exhibition.
In the 80’s-style clip, the Detroit rhymer — who is apparently responsible for Dave Chappelle‘s now-infamous Detroit blunder — plays the pretty screwed-up Uncle Danny who terrorizes his family, played by the likes of filmmaker Gus Van Sant, Growing Pains actress Joanna Kerns, social media star Lauren Avery and a young boy dubbed as “This F***ing Kid.” Seriously.
Check out the video for “Ain’t It Funny” below and — if you haven’t already — pick up Atrocity Exhibition here (the album also boasts the posse cut “Really Doe,” which features Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar and Earl Sweatshirt). In related news, Brown collaborated with UK producer Paul White for his Accelerator EP; that project is available via White’s Bandcamp.
