Last week’s episode of The Flash introduced to an untouchable meta-human named Clive Yorkin. Yorkin’s powers were awaken by Dr. Alchemy and he began targeting those who wronged him in Flashpoint; members of the CCPD including Joe. Caitlin and Julian discover one of Yorkin’s kills and learn that the body continues to decay after the tissue is dead because of some element in his DNA.
Joe and Cecile set up a coffee date for their families to meet. During the awkward coffee date we learn that Joanie, Cecile’s daughter, is obsessed with Kid Flash. She then asks Joe who he would choose Kid Flash or The Flash, making an awkward situation that much more awkward.
Moments later Yorkin interrupts the party when he finds Joe at the coffee shop. He then shows off his ability to disintegrate all objects. Joe shoots at him but the bullets crumble off him. Wally was able to blast Yorkin away using his arms as wind tunnels. After the attack Iris decides to tell Joe about Savitar and her future. Obviously he is pissed that Barry, Iris and Wally all kept it from him.
Iris heads back to her apartment and gets attacked by Yorkin. Wally came to her aid but he wasn’t fast enough to save her from his touch. Wally rushes Iris to STAR Labs and there Caitlin is forced to use her powers to keep a constant freeze on the infection spreading in Iris’s body in order to buy time. Wally blames himself for what happened but Barry tells him it’s his fault. He hasn’t been properly teaching Wally. Barry then makes a promise to Wally to be a better teacher and to inspire him.
Cisco finds a way to track Yorkin and figure out who he is targeting. He vibes to flashpoint and figures out the next target is Laura Stone. The CCPD cop that arrested and berated Yorkin.
Back in the med-bay Iris’s blood begins to attack her cells in her body. Julian discovers that Barry’s blood can be used to take down Yorkin but not save Iris. The decay on Iris continues to spread while Caitlin loses control of her powers and turns into Killer Frost. Julian is able to talk her down and she is able to regain control in order to stall the decay once again.
Joe finds Laura Stone who is a private investigator in this universe and tells her Yorkin is after her. She is working and doesn’t want to stop so she forces Joe to come on the train with her. Yorkin finds them and attacks the train platform in an attempt to dislodge the train. Joe alerts Barry and he phases the train through the debris. Leaving Kid Flash to take on Yorkin.
Wally cuts his hand and phases through Yorkin, successfully neutralizing his powers. Julian was able to get an antidote from Yorkin’s blood after it was stabilized and they were able to save Iris. Joe then tells everyone that they have to be transparent in order to defeat Savitar. No more lies!
Julian then heads out to work on the husk Meta case. Totally forgot about that. Before Julian leaves Caitlin stops him and tells him to show his good side more often. She then offers to take him out for a drink and he gladly accepts. Budding romance?!?!
