Sha Hustle‘s latest song “Last Time” is not your average trap-infused anthem but rather a poetic gesture. Produced by Batmanonthebeatz and SLEDGREN with Sha lacing it with his soft melodious vocals and clever word-play. The song paints a vivid picture of a lot of things that surrounded the Toronto native in the past. The track is clearly an ode to not giving up on yourself even when there are setbacks.
As far as the roots go, Sha Hustle is as deep as you can be in Toronto’s blossoming subculture: he is an original member of the OVO-affiliated Reps Up crew. His fanbase has been appreciating his curated aesthetic over the years, which helped him build a very recognizable reputation for being a role model to younger artists in the Greater Toronto Area as well as being a triple threat (producer, rapper, and a songwriter).
