Ever since 2015, Rich Homie Quan has been quiet after dropping his full-length project DTSpacely Made This. However he has been still catching the attention of the media with his famous stunt, the one where he “punched a bouncer and then escaped on a boat.” Soon after the Atlanta rapper was sued and is now going to pay up for the alleged March 2015 incident.
TMZ reports that Rich Homie has reached a settlement with the bouncer and will be paying up a handsome amount of $60,000.
The bouncer’s legal team issued the following statement:
“That’s one expensive punch and hopefully it’ll send a message — to not just celebrities, but regular people — you can’t go around punching people,”
The rapper’s lawyer, Ricardo Corona, insists that his client is innocent and did not assault anyone that night. He boiled the $60,000 payoff down to “simply a business decision.”
