It was only a matter of time before Atlanta’s J.I.D would receive the opportunity of a lifetime. The artist proved that when consistency and hard work is put into your craft the opportunities will come. It is truly a blessing that it was Dreamville, J. Cole’s record label, that saw the greatness in him and decided to add him to the team. Celebrating the bright career of the new Dreamville signee, the label made the announcement overnight via a 2-minute video on the Dreamville YouTube channel. The video shows a very proud J. Cole and J.I.D cruising in his tan Pontiac joyfully bobbing their heads to one of his singles.
The future is looking bright for the artist now that he is in the hands of the label. J.I.D is a member of the Spillage Village collective which is also home of EarthGang, Jordxn Bryant, and Hollywood JB. Prior to being signed, he has performed with the likes of Bas, Ab-Soul, Lil Wayne, and more. As we wait for his new project The Never Story be on the lookout for new music from him. He now shares a label with J. Cole, Bas, Omen, Cozz, and Ari Lennox.
