As awful as last year was for many of us, we had some decent hip-hop to help us get through the year. If you’ve forgotten some of the hot cuts we had in 2016, there is no better time than now to check out DJ Cable’s annual round up.
Beginning with some reflective words from Kylie Jenner, if you are not quite ready for the abundance of new music that we’re about to receive in 2017, this is the perfect mix to stay with. It’s no doubt a good mix to help you get to work or school, sweat hard at the gym with, and get turnt up to. The mixtape is full of favorites and includes a little UK grime flavouring too, featuring MCs such as Giggs and Mist. DJ Cable’s made sure all the classics of 2016 are on this mix from Young M.A.’s “OOOUUU” to DJ Khaled’s banger “For Free” featuring Drake.
DJ Cable has been keeping us reflective year after year with a roundup of the best music. He can be frequently heard on UK station BBC Radio 1Xtra. Having been active for a number of years, the deejay’s accomplishments create a long listm including producing remixes for UK artists such as Dizzee Rascal and working alongside heavyweights like Nas and The Weeknd.
