The Boy Illinois pays tribute to his grandfather and Migos with the #IMix (Illinois Mix) of T- Shirt aka “On The Road.” Talking about tour life and hustling to become the new “It” artist out of Chicago, Illi paints clever metaphors and imagery with this freestyle. Its rare when an artist can mention “Haiku” in their verse but can be expected from an artist such as The Boy Illinois.

Prepping for his upcoming EP Road Winds, “On The Road” is simply a warm up track to remind fans that he embodies the art of freestyle even in his emerge to fame.
