Who said you can’t mix a Bajan based artist with a conscious trap vibe? Well, if you believe it can’t be done you should be excited to hear Teff Hinkson on his new single “Headshot”. Teff Hinkson is no stranger to the music industry. He began working with Rihanna‘s brother, Rorrey Fenty – whose artist name is Gallest – on a single they recorded together titled “So Insecure,” while also working on his own music simultaneously. In 2011, Teff released his, “Starz,” single which charted at the No. 1 spot on MTV Tempo – the popular station’s music video channel in the Caribbean. Currently, the young rapper is making his entry into the North American market with a steady buzz building in Canada, and the U.S.
“Headshot” is currently being spun across radio waves in the Caribbean and North America. In the song, Teff goes bar for bar, throwing lyrical jabs at the likes of his competition. “I’m Kyrie in the fourth, LeBron on Iguodala.” Teff also addresses topics such as police brutality, rappers sneak dissing, and more.
