Looking for some new music to kick off a great start to the new year? Look no further than rapper Bucky Malone. Riding the momentum of the success of his singles “Wi$hlist” and “Next 2 Me,” the Virginia Rapper releases his highly anticipated project The Pink Album. The album is different from his last few projects. The rapper says that everything from the lyrics to the beat selection are a departure from what his fans may expect. Malone provides an album everyone will be able to connect to. Most of all, it’s a project that mixes the sounds of soul and hip-hop as well as pulling the listeners in so they can wind down to it. To describe the project best Malone says, “I called it The Pink Album because pink is a very calm and soothing color to me. I want that to be what this album is for people.”
2016 was a groundbreaking year for Bucky Malone due to the fan base he has built and the superb collaborations with Chicago producer ICYTWAT for his first lead singles. Additionally, he earned the pleasure of participating in performances for 40oz Bounce in Virginia Beach and at the A3C showcase in Atlanta. He also reached a major milestone when our good friends over at The Source named him an artist “on the rise” twice. By Bucky Malone having the talent to continuously deliver great sounds to his listeners he is definitely an artist to watch. You can stream “The Pink Album” below.
