Forever reigning, as per usual, Beyoncé now holds the title as the first solo female artist to headline the Coachella festival. Kendrick Lamar’s last appearance at Coachella was back in 2012 and has since peaked in his career with 11 Grammy nominations in just the last year. Both artists have held incredible influence in music, social and political awareness, and put on one of the most memorable performances last year in BET Award history.
Joining them in the list of performers are Travis Scott, Future, ScHoolboy Q, DJ Khaled, Gucci Mane, Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. The festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The first Coachella 2017 weekend will be April 14 -16, while the second will take place over April 21-23. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 4th at 11 p.m. Will you be attending this year’s festivities?
