Memphis’ rising star Cool Courtney recently flooded the streets with a slew of heat when he unloaded his 19-track project, The Mud Mixtape. The mixtape captures the crux of Courtney’s undeniable persona as he flexes his raw talent over production from the likes of Drumma Boy, Cashmoney AP, Hot Rod, and Bruce Wayne. Additional production on the project was contributed by none other than Cool Courtney himself, further verifying his well-rounded artistry.
From unapologetic lyrics, to hard-hitting production from Pressure P, Courtney proves to be as raw as it gets time and time again and his new video is another extension of just that. In the flick, Courtney shows us that he’s always focused on the paper and in many cases it drives a wedge between him and his women. With his sights locked in on the cash, Courtney makes it clear that he can’t be tied down by anyone because it’s the money that he’s in love with and going broke is not an option. The Mud Mixtape is out now.
