It has been confirmed that Jeremih has been officially kicked off of the PartyNextDoor “Summer’s Over” Tour after alleged infighting between the performers. This includes comments Jeremih made on stage during performances, as well as rumors that the performer sent on an imposter in his place for a show.
Jeremih had gone on a rant to his audience at one of his performances, saying that “PartyNextDoor and his crew are some b***h a** n****s. Now tell me that. Tell me what I said now?” and telling the audience to “tell him to pay that fake-a** budget they’ve been pressing at night,” according to Pitchfork. Jeremih had also been making posts on Twitter that exhibited his frustrations that he himself did not hold the role and time allotted to perform as a co-headliner. He made a post on Wednesday claiming that “Truth is ‘they’ didnt want me 2 perform tonight … it sad people will take ur money and blatantly make it seem like I only want to do 2 songs.”
Live Nation had issued refunds for the show with the following statement:
Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately. After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly. Ticketholders may request a full refund at point of purchase, which will forfeit access to the entire show. No partial refunds will be issued.
Jeremih has not yet issued a statement on this decision.
