Singer and actor Jaden Smith has released his new music video, setting visuals to his song “Fallen.” The video is directed by Smith and Miles Cable.
The video itself is a piece of amazing, though sometimes unexpected, imagery, starting out with the setting of “Calabasas 1867,” and old western style of town. We see Smith stumbling around, dancing, and being ill as he raps and sings to a smooth rhythm. Kid Cudi had been one of the first to announce the release of the video in a Tweet that stated, “Arrrgghhhhhhhh!! I am honored to debut the epic visuals for my lil bro Jaden’s new jam “FALLEN”. WATCH and FLY!”. The video also included a shout out to Cudi, a beautiful scene on the edge of a cliff during a sunset featuring Cudi’s album art for Man on the Moon: The End of Day.
During the end credits for the video, the listing of the cast includes Smith as “Syre” and Harry Hudson as “Sheriff Harry”. The credits are very shortly preceded by the message announcing Smith’s project “Syre” to be coming soon.
