Rapper and Maybach Music Group founder Rick Ross gave his fans a lot to look forward to in the new year. Yesterday night on the red carpet– prior to his major performance alongside DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, Future, and August Alsina for “Do You Mind”— he announced a new album. On the carpet being interviewed by singer Tinashe, Ross is seen reading DJ Khaled’s new book The Keys. In response, DJ Khaled points out he is reading Ross’s new album titled in bold letters Rather You Than Me on his black sweatshirt. Rick Ross Da Boss tells the AMA’s viewers “Its going down early 2017 we’re doing big moves.” Later that night Ross releases a brief video clip on his IG page where you can see him spray paint the album title with his newest track “Kyrie” playing in the background. The two singles “Kyrie” and “Buy Back the Block” are the only tracks available from the album. Rather You Than Me will be Rick Ross’ seventh studio album.
