RESPECT. Premiere: Vars City Invite Us Into Their "Lifestyles"

Rising hip hop trio, Vars City are highly promising, to say the least. Today, they’re releasing their newest music video for “Lifestyles.” With this video, the three rappers chose to invite the viewer into their lifestyles, in order to give them a closer look to what goes down in the 609 area of South Jersey.

The group-consisting of Don Fresco, Don Wonder, and Von Bruce–document their upbringing and current lifestyle in their hometown. Surrounded by friends, their life is full of liquor (shoutout to the guy chasing Hennessy with orange juice), women, and pool parties. Perhaps still in the early stages of their career, there is no shortage of the extravagant cars other high-rank artists usually flaunt. The vehicles are there, and in abundance.

What seems to be more abundant than the cars, though, are the groups of friends they hang around with. And nearness seems to be the main theme of “Lifestyles.” Many close friends of the trio can be seen in the video. All together, they make up for quite a large number of members in a crew full of day ones. Something that Vars City are thankful for.

“The video is about the importance of togetherness,” notes Von Bruce. For Don Fresco, “the video animates the persona of the group which is a cool, smooth, and laid back vibe with a special kick…” And Don Wonder adds, “The visual symbolized the perfect day; being around good people, cookouts, and emphasized the balance between the free and finer things in life…”
