On Friday Nick Grant released a brand new single titled “Luxury Vintage Rap”.
Nick Grant has kept himself busy this month with the release of a short film for his singles “Get Up” and “The Sing Along”, a 4 track EP inspired by Solange’s Seat At The Table, and now the release of a brand new single titled “Luxury Vintage Rap”.
For some time now, Grant’s sound has stood distinctive among his competition, and he does not disappoint on his most recent effort. As the track title suggests, the track elegantly combines Grants luxurious, flow with a classic/vintage instrumental (listen below). His lyrics and rhymes are in peak form on this single and, perfectly showcase why many in the industry have begun to take notice of Atlanta’s biggest hidden gem.
While many up-and-comers depend on gimmicks and high-profile features to solidify their lane within the industry, Grant is doing that and more simply on pure lyrical talent, and story telling. If Grant’s recent output is any indication of what his debut album may sound like, fans will not be disappointed. Even though details are scarce, look for Grant’s debut album Return of the Cool to drop sometime in 2017.
