The infamous Warners Bros. film Space Jam just celebrated its 20th anniversary yesterday. The looney tunes classic that featured the basketball legend Micheal Jordan and comedic great Bill Murray was a childhood staple for many 90’s babies.
To celebrate this milestone, Jordan Brand has been planing an epic media roll out leading up to the December 10th re-release of the Space Jam 11 sneakers. The shoe that Micheal wore in the fictional game between the Bugs Bunny lead Toon Squad and the alien team Monstars from “Moron Mountain.”
Yesterday Jordan brand took to social media to deliver a teaser for it’s upcoming Space Jam collection.

In addition to the 11’s that will be dropping on the 10th, Jordan brand is also dropping the classic Air Jordan 9’s that were featured in the 1996 film. Many sneakerheads actually forgot that Space Jam featured the 9’s in the classic color way because it was seen only a few short moments. One of which is the scene when Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck go into the real world to sneak into Mike’s house and grab his gym bag which the shoes were in.
There is no doubt that this latest collection that Jordan Brand is dropping has been the talk of the sneaker culture online and in the streets.
