Aadi, music producer, rapper, model, filmmaker and all around creative just dropped a new single, entitled “Moonrise.” Originally from upstate NY and now a resident of Manhattan, Aadi has produced multiple tracks for both himself and for other artists. The song has outer space vibes, that bring the listener to a dreamy, loose world of layered vocals and bass. Space was obviously something he wanted to emphasize as the cover art for the song pictures Aadi wearing an astronaut’s helmet. He repeats effortless but stinging lyrics, “All these lies that you said, lie in my head…I promise to love you,” immediately bringing us back to a certain place with a certain person. Aadi hints at a futuristic sound, with simple but clean lyrics and interesting production. Checkout “Moonrise” below, and his other tracks on his Soundcloud.
His various projects – mainly film and music based – can be heard and seen on his website.
