T.I., the self-proclaimed King of the South, has always kept himself busy. From his music to his movies and the hilarious family-based VH-1 reality show, T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle, while also being a father for the seventh time — T.I. has added more to his plate as he steps back into the acting arena.
Tip will lend his acting chops to the role of Paul Anders, the lawyer to Wood Harris‘s (Paid in Full, The Wire) character Barry Fouray from The Breaks. Originally aired in January , The Breaks followed three friends chasing their New York City hip-hop dreams.
While it gained critical acclaim as a TV movie, The Breaks will be revitalized in scripted series form slated to air in January 2017, one year after its predecessor.
Teyana Taylor and Mack Wilds are some familiar faces returning to The Breaks, while new players like Sinqua Walls from Power and others join T.I. for the star-studded cast.
