RESPECT. The Tape: Chad B – ‘You Know It: The Ghetto Gospel’

Newark native rapper, Chad B isn’t here for the f*ck around.  After landing a single deal with eOne music for his lit single “In My Zone” featuring Global Empire Music Group label mate, Cascio, he demonstrates the results of the grind by releasing his vastly anticipated project, You Know It: The Ghetto Gospel.

Taking a slight step back from his go-to “Jersey Club” sound, with this 11-track body of work, he dishes introspective lyricism over soulful production courtesy of ClutCh. Keeping it strictly Jersey, he only grabs Albee Al, Cascio and Tsu Surf (“Forever Over”) for guest assists.

You Know It boasts skits recorded while Chad was on tour with Dipset in 2015, and two bonus tracks, one of which being Freekey Zekey‘s “We Hustle,” which featured Chad B and Lil Wayne.

With this mixtape, Chad B gives fans the official video for “Think About It,” which was shot and edited by The Prime Prodigy.
