The futuristic sounding, up and coming band, Eyelid Kid has had the internet and Soundcloud world on smash since they’ve started. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Eyelid Kid is a composer who shares visions of true suffering and unforgettable fantasies. This time, the band collaborated with producer White Jamal to create the track “Always.” “Always” features rapper, Levi Lindley on it and is due to be on Eyelid Kid’s debut album, Hometown, due out on October 21st. “Always was a collaboration between producer White Jamal, Rapper Levi Lindley and myself. Levi and I had grown up together and used to make low key tracks in high school. White Jamal (Erik Mikulak) was my older brothers roommate in college and was constantly making fire beats with innovative sampling. When the three of us got together we stayed up all night layering the samples with heavy 808’s and lo-phi trap sounds. It all came together to create a blend of hip-hop and indie-pop. This track is dedicated to MK.”
