Diverze is a recording artist residing in Buffalo, NY. He recalls first writing to a beat of an Usher song at 9-years-old. Little did he know, this moment would later evolve into a life-shaping passion.
Andra Kenner adopted the pseudonym “Diverze” when he was 16 years old.”It’s spelled with a Z because people are sleeping on me, “but I want to wake them up,” Diverze has stated. It was also around that time when he came to the realization that making music wasn’t just a hobby, but something he would dedicate his life to.
Appropriately, his music can be best described as diverse. Arguably one of upstate New York’s most eclectic MCs, Diverze grabs from a variety of places to create his music. His latest single “Oh Lawd,” begins with a dark, simplistic vibe that transitions into something more, guided by his up-tempo flow and the heavy bass line. One of his other notable songs “Lemonade,” has an entirely lighter feel. On this song, he playfully displays his trademark lyricism with a laid-back flow that may leave you wishing Summer lasted a bit longer.
With the official “Oh Lawd” video release, Diverze hopes to prepare listeners for his highly anticipated “Where The Flowers Grow” mixtape. Though the project does not currently have a release date, it is loosely expected in the coming Spring.
With a strong team, well represented in the visual, Diverze cruises through the city of Buffalo reminding us he’s on the road to success. Peep the visual at the top of the page, courtesy of RESPECT, and feel free to drop us your thoughts.
