Malloy, also knows as Nights in Kauai, is a photographer and rapper from New York City. Originally from Harlem, Malloy hopes to document the underground of New York in a large majority of his art, and explore the subcultures that exist in Manhattan. Involved with various projects apart from his personal work, he is a skater, producer and director. He also works with Chopped Life NYC, a streetwear brand originally started in NYC. Malloy is also an integral part of the hip-hop and rap scene which he uses to present a unique story in his photography.
The following shots wander through various boroughs – Brooklyn, the Lower East Side, Chinatown and more. Taking you through both the underbelly and the obvious of New York City, these images give a glimpse into all that exists in the diverse city.
